Sellick game

Unsurprising defeat but some positives at last.

The team actually showed a bit of fight and passion. Pereira,Clare and Damour has possibly their best games for us.

Lack of goals is still a huge worry though.

It’s gave me some optimism ahead of Saturdays ‘six pointer’ against Hamilton.

Re: Sellick game

I thought we took it to them well for the first 25, then of course they scored. You'd expect game over at that point, and to an extent it was, but even at 2 nil I still saw fight in the team - something that's been missing since god only knows when. So - losing not great, but for once positives to take from it.

Re: Sellick game

Stated to Babs had they played like that against StJ we would have won. They had better be up for the Hamilton game ( I know it on artificial turf but still ). Get the defense sorted ( Berra is past it ) and while the mid and strikers are pressing don't leave huge gaps at the back. The ball over the top is easy meat as Berra can't run, so hopefully get the injured guys back ( soapy ) and inject a little pace to cut out any attacks.

Re: Sellick game

wouldn't be such a prob away from home, but in the sellik game his positioning was a problem for us. Not being in line with his other defenders nearly cost us a goal. He seems to need 2 helpful central defender companions around him now
