in centre mid we didn't have 2 players who could play together and hold possession or create pressure by passing to each other a few times, they had a number of them.  If Naismith comes back it'll help that area if Moshino drops back a bit into there but really we're 2 players light in that area.  One should be Clare but he's only in the game for a few minutes.  Walker's the wrong type for that role. Think I'd try Clare + Moshino and see if the latter helps the former, but really I'd be looking at bringing someone in unless Harry Cochrane matures a bit while on his travels.

Too many duds brought in by Levein. Mc Phee obviously got it badly wrong but to be fair to him MacLean caused him problems and later Smith going off ruined his somewhat dodgy game plan.
However I still maintain the ONLY way to beat them and Celtic is to attack. Get forward and get stuck into their defenders when they have the ball. Stop them spraying passes around.
MacLean getting booked ( something I think the ref got conned into because he never touched the guy with his elbow) and then going ballistic after the offside whistle meant he was close to getting sent off.
Then Clare, Bozanic White, Whighton, and to some extent Whelan were nowhere near good enough. And dare I say it Berra is becoming a liability with his shirt pulling ( surprised he didn't give away a penalty. ) 
Hickey didn't do so good but gets a free hit due to being played out of position, Smith was once again our best player ( until he had to go off ).
The new manager will have to get these players playing better or it's another transitional season where we have to dump a full squad and start again.
