Uche

Media reports ( yes I know ) claiming Celtic are interested in big Uche. IF he goes there, you can be sure he will get a foul every time the ball goes near him.

Re: Uche

Let him go for a big fee.  He's good for us, but doesn't play enough games nor get enough goals when he does so for me a fee would be welcome.  I do like him for us but there are other players and other styles of playing.  Connor Washington & Keena play a different way (and like Uche don't score too often) but we haven't seen if there is a partnership with either of them or even with those two themselves that's liable to get results.  So I'd rather he stayed unless the money's good, in which case let him go.

Re: Uche

The problem with Uche is the way Levein plays. OK not another Levein rant but playing hoofball does not suit big Uche. Get him to hold up the ball by all means, but he needs other players to play off him and being a lone striker with the ball hoofed and no outlet, is making him look a carthorse. Add to this the fact he get fouled repeatedly with nothing from the officials means he is often more of a set back than a asset.

Re: Uche

Can't see him getting anywhere near a game for Celtic tbh, and I like him!

I agree.

I reckon he could be useful out on the wing.  He's not exactly a bullet, but he's fairly rapid, and how many full backs would get close to out-muscling him?
