I wish I'd known I'd be watching a team with Mulgrew, Devlin and Fleck in it before I predicted.

Clearly wasn't pessimistic enough. Well not until like IJ I saw the team.
Frustrating watch - why are we scared of opponents, why do we back off when they close us down high up the pitch instead of taking a strong 'don't you dare' attitude with a mixture off ability and power
Unfortunately there's a real answer - cos of the players available, we don't have a side which could do that. Not choosing from a pool of strong skilled confident capable players. Man for man we were smaller and less able than a pretty ordinary Russia which had a couple of good players and one very good one.
What do you do?
