Woke up this morning, probably like the rest of the nation, feeling as flat as a pancake.
We could have, and should have done so much better.
Clarke is far too negative and too many players were less than mediocre.
Why does he show so much loyalty to the usual suspects? Adams was guff and is an absolute liability when he goes in with challenges. MCGregor and Robertson were piss poor. As for McGinn, for someone who's going to be playing Champions League football next season, he was anonymous! I could go on.
Does Clarke know that he can play subs? Why is he not more proactive in this area? Shankland should have been on much sooner last night and in the Switzerland game. I think he would have made a massive difference!
Anyway, there's plenty more I could add, but I won't, as I'm on holiday and I need to get my happy face on!

Clarke seems to be getting into the territory of late on in Craig Broon's tenure - he'll keep his job but he'll either mistakenly stay loyal to a group or he'll be bold and being through new faces at the expense of some of his getting-old guard. He'll be helped of course by a few coming back from injury but there are still a number of "How did HE get in the squad??" players to deal with.

I was really disappointed with Scotland's showing, but now that I've had time to come to terms with it, I'm furious!
We qualified as second seeds, and ended up being the second team out of the tournament. We should have been aiming for 6 points from the group stage, but Steve Clarke shat the bed.
Celebrating a draw against Switzerland is small time, especially given that we were in the lead in the game. One thing that infuriated me about that game was Davie Moyes. Gabby Logan asked him at half time if he'd go for the win, and he said no! Prior to that, I wouldn't have minded if he'd been selected to take over from Clarke, but he can GTF now.
As a country, we need to start believing in ourselves.

And one other thing. Belgium should be docked points and booted out the tournament for that monstrosity of an away strip that they were wearing!
