Who actually cares about it? Sadly as we failed to show and the shite didn't, a stupid wee number doesn't matter. You either win or you don't. "ok but you get an easier draw!" some nerd cries at me. So what? You get humped in the next round? Aye ok, throw me a party for that. It's worthless and it's worthless worrying about.

Disagree with your final sentence - it all counts towards how many places we get in the competitions / what stage ourv teams enter at.

If we're good enough we'll qualify for the next round. If we're good enough we'll win. First round, second or third. If we're not, we won't. Coefficent has nowt to do with that!

Tonight? Hearts were good enough, Hibs were good enough. Both against teams higher in the coefficient. I'm never wrong by the way.

If it meant we got an extra place in Europe, and that meant we qualified whereas otherwise we wouldn't have qualified, then I'm all for it.
After a few games in Europe....well we're not going to win any of the European trophies so the European matches won't get us into Europe again. But the league matches will, so I don't want us going an extra round and we start losing league matches as a result (like later on last season). Enough European nights for the fun and to make us more attractive to recruits, not enough to make the side go stale after New Year.

Indeed! But we actually have a bigger squad now, so the conference games will not be such a blow to the players.
And the money will be good, if we get past the Greeks.
