That's great.
I've got jag #2 next week. I'm not sure why I'm, so far ahead of my age group - I must be classified as a protected species or something.

Had my second last weekend I'm glad to say 🙂
Not sure why you're on the early shift for vacs Forrest, but glad you are.
Pal of mine confirmed why some got it v early (tho this maybe doesn't refer to you), he was volunteering at a vaccination centre and one of the vacs had a 15 minute shelf life once the batches were made up so they were making them up in accordance with their bookings and with how quickly people were coming through the door. If footfall slowed a bit, they were out going up to people in the car park offering them the jag whatever age they were to use it up, as it would have to go down the drain otherwise.
My #2 son & his partner got theirs that way - a friend of theirs works in a doctor's and knew they lived nearby & were at home so phoned them up to ask them to toddle along quickly.

I've got very mild asthma, which might have been the reason. But it's so mild that this year, of all years, I was told that it wasn't bad enough to warrant a flu jag!
We're getting to the stage now where politicians are starting to try to point-score. At a hustings I was at the other week, a Tory councillor asked the sitting SNP candidate if she could explain why West Lothian's vaccination rate was so much lower than the rest of the country's. She said yes she could, it's because West Lothian is one of the youngest populations in Scotland.

That's what happens when you're sleeping with a Dr.

So, after around two years of avoiding the bugger, both myself and Mrs tjambo have tested positive.
We’re both fine though. I’ve got a cough and she has no symptoms at all.
