That's absolutely bonkers; how do you get to being an international referee like that?! I presume that he forgot to stop his watch at a VAR check or something, which shows the importance of training.

There seems to be something extremely dodgy in every game in that tourney. Did you see the keeper who 'fumbled' the ball into the path of the opposition in the dying minute of the match, then stretchered off out of embarrassment?

I missed that one but it is no surprise if dubious practice appears in Africa.
