    Looked like your lot should have forced it to extra time (or at least been awarded the chance to with a penalty).  Premier Sports are garbage at highlights, so I've only seen what's on YouTube; their highlights clip treats the diddy cup with contempt (he says with a hint of irony )

    Difficult to tell as well if either of their goals were offside; the sooner VAR comes in, the better.

    Haven't seen the incidents yet, but very much agree about var. How often have we looked back on matches v the o.f. (or anyone else) and said they got a result thru refs' poor decisions. Var will take away some of those, and prove the point one way or the other in some of the remaining ones.
    There'll still be plenty to disagree with - refs might still view an incident different to how fans will even after having seen it on var - but some things will be resolved 'properly'.

    Thank you, Forrest.  I listened to it on the radio,  which I always find difficult!

    As soon as we scored, I was worried about the final score.  (and probably before then if I'm being honest)! 😅
