A week on Friday, I'm getting a pup.
Another black Lab.
A wee pal for my black, hairy baby who's now 3 and a half.
Can't wait.
If I knew how to post a photo, I would. My sister's a dog person, mostly long-haired labs (she'd correct me for not remembering their proper name). Shows them, judges shows, breeds them. She's just let one have pups, expecting the usual hard work, long nights with a handful of pups.
Her dog's produced 11 😳!
Says it's the last time, won't have another batch 😄. But she been saying that for about 10 years.
Every day's a school day; first time I've heard of long haired Labs.
.
Long-haired in that they've got longer hair than shorter-haired ones, which have short hair.
But I've remembered the correct term for her dogs ('Remembered' by looking at pics and reading it).
It's Golden Retriever

I actually googled 'long haired Labs' and when I saw the pictures, I thought, they really look like Golden Retrievers! 🤣🤣

Well, I've had my 2nd one for 6 days now and she is absolutely gorgeous. Love her to bits.
Must say that Mr HC has been bloody brilliant at getting up during the night to take her out for a pee. Love him to bits too.

Love stuff like that, when the news is basically just full of shite about absolute inhumanity.
And don't start me on this videos you get of wee bairns seeing/hearing for the first time
