Re: €€

Bit of a rough one.  But, as I said to a few of the former JNetters, at least they're going to play ball and not park the bus or some abhorrent 4-6-0 formation.  Gave you guys reasons to get excited throughout.

Re: €€

Losing was a strategy Bobcat, to avoid us being installed as tournament favourites too early.

Re: €€

What the fuck was Marshall doing practically on the half way line?

Fuckin clown. Gordon in for Friday. Drop O’Donnell as well, he’s nowhere near good enough for this level. Adam’s has to start.

Re: €€

Would agree with all of what Ian says.

Thought Hadley & Roberston had decent games, and Adams looked good when he came on.  I like Christie but was disappointed with him (except when O'Donnell got in his way!).

I've not seen enough of Gilmour to know how good he is - McTominay seems a bit over-hyped to me, but again, I don't see a lot of him.  Other countries don't seem as scared to play their youngsters as we are.

Two good goals and we created some decent chances ourselves - just need to be more clinical.  That was probably our best chance of getting points though.

Re: €€

Not managed to watch any of the tournament so far other than the opener. My body is absolutely ready for Friday however.

Re: €€

I thought we were really good last night and unlucky only to get a draw.

We dominated the first half and were strong too in the second half with a good few chances.

Re: €€

Managed to watch the game on my phone at work. Feel much the same as HC, England couldn't have complained if we'd won that. Good stuff, now bring on the Croatia.

Re: €€

You won't have seen Souness doing his bit of punditry afterwards. . Dunno if he'd been eating raw coffee or what but he was absolutely wired, the more he talked the better Scotland's performance was getting in his view. Didn't watch it to the end but by the time the show finished I wouldnt be surprised if he was claiming we were clearly going to win the tournament.

Re: €€

Everyone on the pitch was excellent. I was very critical of O’Donnell after the Czech game, but he was outstanding and could even have scored.
I don’t know what’s happened to Hanley, but since being recalled, he’s been really solid. Friday night was arguably his best game for Scotland.

The problem is though. Now that we’ve had that performance, I’ve now allowed myself to be positive about the final game. We know what usually happens in that scenario 😭

Only concerning thing is that we’re the only team in the tournament not to have scored a goal.

Yet, if you look at the stats, I think we're sitting third for shots on target!
