Re: There it is...

I'm the kind of fan who Jim would derogatory describe as a "happy clapper".  The football has been mostly terrible this season, with a few notable exceptions, but Robbie was comfortably completing his brief of getting us promoted at the first time of asking.

The support was immediately split the moment he was re-appointed, and that has widened with some of the results and performances we've had, despite the 16-point lead at the top of the league.

I don't see how he can come back from this - some fans never forgave him for the cup defeats to Hibs (in particular 2016), Even if we see swash-buckling football until the end of this season and into next season, some fans just won't forget last night.

What of the players?  Some of them eg Kasteneer, are going to find it very difficult to recover from that.

Yes, recruitment's poor. Even GM-S I was iffy about, thought people were remembering how he used to be rather than looking for how he is now. I think he's ok... but not more than that. I did expect more from Kasteneer tho.
My concern is the next game -after that the players could be in a mindset where they don't win another games all season. Robbie has to lift them now.

From what I’ve seen of Kastaneer so far, he would easily make my worst Hearts XI.

Berra, despite his goal, is finished and has been for a while now.

Irving is vastly overrated. I just don’t see it with him.  He has about 1 really good game in about 10 and the other 9 are between average and shite.

White should never kick a ball for Hearts again.

Re: There it is...

Started think who I'd get rid of from the squad.

Then realised it would be a shorter list for who I'd keep. Gordon Smith Halkett Kingsley Souttar. Not seen enough of Stewart to decide. Walker prob, Ginnelly, Irvine prob. Boyce. That's not even a team

For cover maybe White & Brandon & McEneff. That's a lot of recruitment to do.
