Say what you like about them, and I do, but they're having a great season in Europe just now. Some game last night. Hope they overspend and die again.

Yes, they are.
Gerrard has turned out to be a good manager for them.
Call me old fashioned, but I don't really wish extinction on any club.

Thought this was going to be about their players fucking around with Covid (again) and instead it's Forrest wishing them to go down the shitter (again).
I approve.

I agree - Gerrard's got them looking like a strong side. Won't be long before some bigger-money outfits from the south start making him offers.

Only if they're prepared to wait for three years to get results!
HC - you're old-fashioned! I think the Scottish game needs a huge shake-up. While I wouldn't actually exist extinction on most teams (they just need to find their proper place), two in particular are a cancer in Scotland (not just on the football pitch) and we'd be better off without them.

I'm no lover of the OF either, Forrest. I'dd gladly see them play in another league in another country, however, I wouldn't wish extinction on any club.
I say this because of the effect this would have on the regular fan and his/her sense of belonging and history.
You could of course argue that we could do without the connotations that brings with the OF. That, however is a completely different argument.
I have pals who support the OF and aren't tied up with the bigotry surrounding their clubs. Are they in the minority ? Perhaps.
I just know how I felt when my club almost went in to extinction under Wallace Merciless and it wasn't something I'd wish on any true football fan.

Shocking behaviour from Rangers fans yesterday, gathering outside Castle Greyskull during a public health emergency.
Also, the manager and players should be ashamed of themselves opening the gate to celebrate in front of the fans.
While I understand that you would want to celebrate after a ten year absence of winning the league, we are living in times where difficult personal decisions need to be taken and the greater good of the public needs to be thought about first when making decisions.

Uh-huh. They should have distanced themselves from it. I fear that by going to their fans they'll have encouraged a repeat at the next home game. Moving the problem on to the polis.
A statement threatening eg blacklisting of any fans deliberately breaching lockdown rules would be interesting.

Even worse today.
Thousands gathered together both at Ibrox and George Square.
Tomorrow they'll go to work and send their kids to school.
Disgusting.

Football fans in acting mental shocker. (sarcasm) Not excusing it, but if Hearts or Hibs had won the league and played as Rangers have all season, either of our set of supporters would've been as mental and congregated the same.
