I disagree. If we were starting from a position like after the first lockdown then yes. But we're not - I don't think we'll have a level playing field compared with before, there'll be lots more unemployed and unemployed folks take more money out of the exchequer and don't pay as much in in taxes. And there's damage in the system yet to work itself out, like businesses damaged but they don't know how much yet, which they'll find out over the next year when rents come due and annual expenses get worked out. Some possibly won't be able to balance the books for the year ahead and stop trading. That'll reduce the amount of liquidity circulating around and add to the unemployed problem. So I'd expect things to go on getting worse in the 12 months from after the hooter goes to send everybody back to work, and a George Osborne type austerity for a number of years after.
In other news, the sun's shining.

So that's a few of our newer, uh shall we say, "Moscow based" pals away. Now new users need to tell me their favourite Hearts player and first Hearts game before they can join.
HC's lucky I don't enact this for everybody.

Neil Lennon - arsehole or losing it?
"Everyone's against us because they made our players self-isolate "
Er, and one of them has tested positive, thereby vindicating the decision to ask them to isolate. What an absolute clown.

Yes. He's a man under pressure and struggling with the stress.
Tho I did read a piece of conspiracy theory doublethink - that it was a deliberate ploy to annoy the Scottish Govt and get football stopped & the season written off, saving their season. But on the face of it that would need him to be smart enough to think of such a thing while he's under such pressure. But of course he needn't have thought of it himself.....

Lennon is a total narcissist.
Celtic's behaviour during and after the whole Dubai debacle is outrageous and shows complete disregard fpr the public health priorities.
Lennon's reaction was despicable. As always, his bullish behaviour blamed everyone else barr himself and CFC.
I actually found myself feeling sorry for the average Celtic fan. You just need to look at the reaction of Celtic fans on Twitter to see how angry they were at the situation.
Also, his deprecation of other clubs and individuals within the Scottish game during his diatribe has done him no favours, and will, I think, make people dislike him even more.

The vaccine is now being offered to over 18s in the Western Isles.
Nothing but praise for the health board here.
