Official Jnet League Cup Winners Thread

Fitba is back.

We'll look back at smashing Robbie Nytol's BUMdee USHITEd today fondly as the first step on winning the League Cup, imo.

Yes, glad someone is confidant. We have so called strikers that can't find the net in over 12 shots? Played ok with some nice passing and the young lads did very well, however you can't win games if you don't score. Washington the great white hope is worse than Sammon. Uche was worse than a man short with four or more wasted passes on the edge of the box, and Walker shooting straight at the keeper!! Can't go through the league relying on penalty shootouts.

No as daft as your lads are looking.

Get a grip Jim.  It's a first game back, and effectively a pre-season friendly.  Washington and Walker look like they're going to be useful additions for us.  Uche didn't have a good game - it happens.

Cowdenbeath next to be put to the sword tonight. I'm usually optimistic in my predictions, but today I'll tone it down and suggest we only nick a win by 7 or 8 goals.

First game back? Do you forget how to do your job after a holiday? These guys are meant to be athletes and shouldn't need anything more than a couple of pre season games to get back up to speed. If you are saying this " trophy " doesn't count, then fine lets not bother entering. However if you want silverware, they should be hammering any team other than a Premiership side. Sure they showed some nice touches, but it's the final third where they failed miserably and that is not acceptable from players earning what we pay.

A fantastic win against the might Cowdenbeath. With performances and goals like these we should win the league at a canter.
