Forza Scozia

C'mon the Scottish ladies.

Re: Forza Scozia

In the games I've seen her Weir has stood out as a really natural footballer.

Re: Forza Scozia

Ah they didn't deserve that. A rebound-in-off-the-player's-face breakaway goal🙄. Thought they were better than Finland home + away.

Re: Forza Scozia

Oh well at least they had time to get home and get their man's tea ready.

Re: Forza Scozia

Barely get to see evening games now but it's a shame they went out - I got right into the World Cup campaign. I did watched View from the Terrace with Rose Reilly on it the other day. A name I hadn't heard before but certainly have now, really impressive.

Missed this post.

Yes, there was a lot on about her then.  She is an amazing woman.  To do what she did at that time was quite outstanding.

There was an excellent interview with her on Radio Scotland.  She came across so passionately and seems like a good woman.

Aye it's mad that we ken Souness/Jordan/Law and even Hickey went to play in Italy but that a lassie from Kilmarnock moved over there (and France) at aged 18 to play professionally is more or less a secret. Should be far more well known. Credit to the junior Borthwick and his pals for bringing her to the nations attention.

Agreed, it was a good feature.  I first heard of her during the summer when she was on the shortlist for greatest Scottish sportswoman of all time - obviously somebody at the Beeb has been doing a bit of research.
