    Remembrance day

    There will be no remembrance meeting at the clock this year. That doesn't mean individuals can't go but simply there will be no official parade or speeches. Sad day when a bad flu stops people respecting those who fought for us.

    The right decision, IMHO.  It doesn't stop people respecting - that can easily be done at home; it prevents a mass gathering.
