Hearts v Raith

Lot of noise from Robbie that we'll be going balls out to beat these bastards today.

Can see us scoring as many as 2 (two) goals.

Re: Hearts v Raith

Did Aidy White win a competition to be a footballer? The boy is beyond shite.

Wighton seems to have improved quite considerably. His movement has been really good. Stewart in goal has looked decent as well. He’ll be good back up for Gordon.

Great to see Haring starting.

What a line up by the lad Neilson.

Re: Hearts v Raith

TBF he played a few fringe players and they did OK. However if this is the standard we are putting out it will be a struggle. Wighton will never be a striker. His three goals and only one from open play. He run around like a headless chicken for most of the game and the backs and mid did nothing to drive the game forward. Too many lack luster passes round the backs and no real movement up front. Thought with Walker and co we would be driving up the wings more with more crosses into the box.
Ok enough moans, a win is a win and it's good prep for the " real " thing.

Re: Hearts v Raith

I thought Wighton did well in very small patches, but very small patches isn't good enough. Boyce will, sensibly, start on Friday imo.

Did Boyce get much game time for NI? Might see him on the bench if he did.

Re: Hearts v Raith

Could be right Ian. But seeing what he's up against for the central striker berth there's a fair chance he'll be on and taken off if he tires or we get 3 up. (Us. 3 up )
