Hearts v ICT (Betfred Cup)

After 7 long months, we finally have a competitive match to look forward to tonight. Boyce and Smith are away with the Northern Ireland squad and will miss out.

Paid my subs for Hearts TV yesterday so I can watch it, then find out it's on Premier Sports. FFS.
Just happy to have the boys back though

It appears you can " buy " Premier for £1 and remember to cancel before the end of the month or they will charge you £9.99

Hard slog and pretty poor at times. However a win is a win is a win. I would have hoped the earlier friendlies would have had us playing more as a unit, too many sloppy passes and not enough drive, too many tippy tappy passes with no forward movement. Those who thought we would romp the Championship should be worried after that.

Re: Hearts v ICT (Betfred Cup)

Was pretty bad. Zero urgency, and in a few cases, interest from a few players. Liked the look of Ginnelly. Can't cross worth a fuck but lots of pace and terrorised their defence all night by running at them. Hopefully more to come in the next match from everybody.

Does that remind you of anybody, IJ?

Real Maroon never played at night.

But they did have a cracking center forward in the shape of a big beach tree. His knock down was perfect.

Re: Hearts v ICT (Betfred Cup)

Not sure how much to read into that. It seemed very much "OK I suppose", we had decent players doing OK but not a dynamic team performance, we have two players to bring back in but much tho I like Smiff I thought Brandon had a good game so that swap won't change the side mightily. But it's early yet, Naismith can do better, Haring can get up to speed.
