So what's Elliott Frear like?

Maybe seem him play, can't remember him. Stats of 74 games 8 goals 14 assists at Motherwell suggest he does his work further back, but it's not everybody's job to spend their 90 minutes up front so that's maybe not so had for the role.

I expect (=hope) Jamie Walker will get himself together and be a real performer in the Championship. Always thought he had outstanding talent and the problem was that he didn't realise the need to screw the nut.

Exactly as good as you'd expect a boy no good enough for Motherwell to be

TBF I don't really judge players who didn't make it at other clubs for the simple reason they will be playing with different mates and tactics, a different manager and training techniques. Unless they are complete huddies and couldn't kick a dead granny then give them a chance. However I would not be doing as Levein did and give them long contracts until they have proved themselves.

Signs a 1 year deal.

Can’t say overcome with excitement on this one. We’ll wait and see though.

Usual signing for us. Sounds pap, we'll give him a chance and he'll be pap. Once again when it comes to this club my whelm is undered.

Re: So what's Elliott Frear like?

reading about him in the EEN he seems to be in the top % of players who can cross a ball. Something we have lacked for a long time. Get down the wing and get balls into Boyce and Naismith. Job done. With Gordon between the sticks I can see a decent future.

That's over 99 years of experience in those 3 alone.
