Match v St Johnstone postponed due to 8 Aberdeen players having to self isolate after 2 test positive for Covid.
The 8 players decided it was a great idea to go to a busy boozer after the Rangers game.
Sturgeon is absolutely raging at them. Hope they make an example of the c***s. Award St Johnstone a 3-0 win and hammer them with a fine.
Name and shame the arsehole players as well.

I agree, let every other club decide who would have won (so there'll be no self-interest there eh?). In fact may as well relegate them now.

Joking apart this has really serious consequences. First off they should not be allowed to leave Aberdeen's five mile limit so all their games should be forfeit until this is lifted.
The club should be fined or points deducted and all lost games given as 3-0 wins to the opposition.
The country has put up with a huge inconvenience and for these clowns to flaunt the rules needs a strong response.
They called the league when no players had the virus, and now they have, surely all who came into contact tested or not should be isolated. IF this means teams can't full fill their obligations then they should be removed from the league.
However nothing will be done as the GFA are shitting themselves an OF player will catch it and they have to apply the same rules.

And as a bitter bastard, I'll confirm this is a very good point.

I can only echo Sturgeon by saying that I too was furious when I heard this news. Reasons as follows:
1) The SFA and SPFL agreed to the conditions surrounding the return of football. They broke the rules.
2) Their selfish actions put the rest of the Scottish game's future in doubt.
3) Footballers are role models and being so, they need to take on the responsibilities associated with that.
4) Being 'well kent' faces in the city, their presence in local pubs would have inevitably attracted crowds, gatherings etc thus potentially spreading the virus
5) Their positive tests mean potential transfer of the virus to other places in Scotland. (via other teams)
6) They have shown complete and utter disdain for the rest of the Scottish population, whom, on the whole have adhered to the guidance our government has set out.
There are so many more reasons, but I'll avoid a rant.
I'm really angry about this and I didn't think that McInnes' reaction to the situation on TV tonight was strong enough.
Finally, I expect that a few players will be shitting themselves just now. Let's not be naive and think this will be exclusive to Aberdeen FC.

On top of everything else, St Johnstone get shafted because the game is called off; yet Hamilton and Celtic will get to play an understrength Aberdeen side. Utterly fucking ridiculous how NO MATTER WHAT the situation, the absolute morons in charge of Scotland's national game will make the biggest arse possible of it.

All Aberdeen's games should have been forfeit, until the whole squad was clear and the five mile restrictions lifted. To allow a team to travel and play even with one player with the virus, is foolhardy at least.

Laughable that their game gets rescheduled. Yet our games last season, also called off for the virus, were forfeit.

Statement imminent from AFC where players will be named.
