Was listening to someone the other day whose research (in Spain iirc) were that covid-19 residue was found in faeces from there from January LAST year. Weird.

Weird that they'd keep a jobby for a year or...

Oh you don't want to give up a good jobby. A good one's worth treasuring.

As of tomorrow, face coverings are compulsory in shops in Scotland.

Interesting to read our story from a foreigner's point of view.

She has led rather than reactively flap around. Pretty much what this article is saying.
You read the NYT a lot HC?.

I read it occasionally, as I do most English language foreign press. Most limit you to 5 or 10 articles before a paywall appears so you have to time it right!
I read Italian and French press pretty much daily.
A lot of papers are giving free access to C19 articles just now.
Am seriously tempted to take out a subscription to The Herald as it's almost impossible to read any Scottish news online now.

I've thought about a Herald subscription. Been held back through the angle of some of the reporting. Though I'm pro the SNP and pro independence it still takes (to me) an extreme and a bit 1 dimensional stance - as bad as the Scotsman or Telegraph's opposite right wing Tory unionist frothing end of the scale.
I don't mean that rudely, I do understand wanting Scottish news not Scottish-from-an-England-dominated point of view and might yet go for it m'self.

I'm not so sure about that, Anders. While they officially take a pro independence stance, there are numerous unionist columnists and I'd say that readership is pretty divided too going by the comments. (readers').
The Scotsman does anything it can, not just to be anti independence, but to be anti Scottish. And let's not even go there with regards the message boards.
As for the Telegraph, that would be the last paper I'd think about subscribing to. Have they even heard of Scotland?
Think I might bite the bullet and subscribe.

Fair enough - my familiarity with the Herald is probably out of date then (haven't read a full issue for prob over 18 months). The Telegraph being the last paper you'd go for...I'd include the Mail/Express/Sun/Scotsman all in that same category. And the Times where the right-wingness is pretty subtle at times, I find it sets a scene of 'these are the values you should have' and those values align quite closely with people who come in for a lot of pro-tory influence. Get people into the right of centre crowd where other influences will appear.
