Absolute trumpets at the weekend who think it's ok to inundate the likes of Luss and Glencoe.
Thought we were better in Scotland.

Where I live in England is by a reservoir, with fishing and walks and stuff. Busy? Unbelievable!!

My sister is a nurse in charge of an ICU ward. There have been no new Covid cases for jusr over a week. Today there are 5 new Covid cases.
What does that tell you?

Hmmm....incubation period of about 5-15 days...what're you taking it back to. Stage 1 of lockdown easing? Demenstrations against white-centricity in society? People increasingly wandering into places populated by others although they know well that there's a contagious disease around for which there's no cure?

Looking at the timing I'd say it's probably down to that first weekend of the easing of lockdown when it was really hot and when folk went mental with no notion of any social distancing.

It's unfortunate. Is always going to happen until there's a preventative, the only way to stop it without one is that everyone in the world goes into lockdown at the same time for as long as it takes for all those carrying it to incubate, go thru it and recover (hopefully) but even then it'd only work if people don't continue to carry it afterwards. Without that it'll just keep on going round slowly. Hope any mutations are less deadly, as in the Spanish Flu epidemic.

A neat summary, which avoids the distraction of comparing Scotland's approach to, ahem, anyone else's which would risk drawing the attention to the differences rather than the fuller 'Scotland' picture.
