I think the team had gone stale from the busy start to the season with it's European games. Different manager wasn't going to change that. Nor stop Rowles from getting bullied by big forwards.

There seems to always have been an issue with Neilson from certain supporters. If you were going to get rid of him, it had to be now, given the fixture at the weekend.

Robbie should have gone after the Brora debacle two years ago. If he had any dignity he would have resigned after the worst result in Hearts history. He didn't and Hearts should have sacked him then. His team selections and tactics are baffling and it's clear the players don't know what they're meant to be doing. And our penchant for bottling it against the Ugly Sisters has now spread to Tynecastle. I don't think Naismith is the answer either. Time for a completely fresh approach.
