I do remember this suggestion being put forward (from Anders, if I recall correctly), 🤔 that we should perhaps start a private FB page. I think this was mooted a couple of times when there were IT issues with Jnet.

Is there interest in doing this now?

As opposed to this board? Yeah why not, I suspect it'd be easier for those who administrate/fund this site so if others want to then I'd be happy to too.

iirc we didn't because there was some reluctance to use fb.

I thought you weren't on FB, HC, which was one of the main stumbling blocks. Happy to try it and see.

Myself and Jim were the dissenters on the FB suggestion as neither of us used it at the time.

I am now on FB, however I was more thinking about having it as a 'back-up' should something go wrong technology wise.

It's probably the old, sentimental feelings getting in the way, but Jnet as a message board, goes back a long way, and it would be a shame to lose it completely.

However, I understand that things evolve.

Happy to have FB as a back up, but honestly it's no hassle running this place other than rejecting the bots. I think at least 3 of you ken my name if you want to get me on there
