Right - we can start to enjoy it now!
Got to say, I thought Morocco played some pretty decent stuff in the group, and didn't seem to be clinging on desperately in the KO rounds. They're up against some very good players now though.
Croatia bore me though - hoping Argentina get through that one.

I was hoping for a French win, but didn't mind Argentina pipping them, for Messi's sake.
What a game though - just what you want for a WC final.

The best final I can remember.
I remember watching the 1990 final when I was 11. I was right into the '94 WC as a teenager, but the final was terrible. In '98, I was actually in France at the time and it was incredible! I can barely remember the finals since then apart from Zidane's headbut in 2006 and a studs-up challenge early on by a Dutch player in 2010. I didn't even remember the 2018 final until I saw the highlights.
But yes, that was a final fitting of a World Cup, and a great game, particularly after the 75th minute or whenever it was.

Didn't watch more than an hour of the entire tournament, partly through conscience and partly through time zones but glad to see Messi win it. Though, as per, as long as England didn't I'd be entirely comfortable with any outcome
