Yay, good to have you back.
I think the WC has been OK - KO times are great for me. Some amazing results and good games; bit of a shortage of really good goals though. Not sure why that is.
Don't know what the fighting thing was all about - just looked like a bit of handbags to me!

I've watched more of this WC than I have of the last few. Partly cos the times are good for me too, partly cos some 'lesser' nations have performed well (not just defended with a frenzy but tried to do more than that). It's made me want to start going to wc's again.
Thought Cochrane committed a foul, and the Spanish side wildly overreacted.
Also thought that Halliday can't've been there as none of the Spaniards ended up horizontal for it.

I've hardly watched any of the WC. I haven't deliberately not watched it because it's in Qatar, but I find that fact - probably subconsciously- has contributed to my lack of interest.

I was away when it started, so didn't catch the first few days, which didn't help, I suppose. It just doesn't *feel* like a world cup to me.
