Re: The Craig Levein thread

Been saying for a long time now she is risking all the good work she has done by supporting a lying has been. ( if you think I risk anything by calling him a liar, then you only have to look at what he said after the note was passed live on TV )
" He said: "I just laughed when I saw those comments. There were never any notes passed, trust me. That's not true."

The guy is a complete maniac if he thinks we didn't witness this with our own eyes.
This latest statement shows Budge has no interest in fans and only wants high paying corporate punters.
She needs to think again about what she has written ( some claiming she has been misquoted ) but this is an official statement and they don't get things like this wrong.
I have always wanted Budge to stay on after she is repaid, however if she is treating the fans with such utter contempt then she can GTF and take lover boy with her.

Re: The Craig Levein thread

Anders many have short memories, Mine is worse than some due to meds, however I do know Levein has signed more players since 2014 than all the other clubs put together, The money he has wasted is beyond comprehension.
Many hail him a legend due to his playing days however ( despite what IJ says ) I do believe he bottled playing in a certain game when any true player would have sucked it up and at least tried.
Then he pissed off when Hearts needed him most as a previous manager, ( rumour was he had to get out of town due to an affair ) .
Now he has wormed his way into an unassailable position, Budge has committed the ultimate sin in business and put all her eggs in one basket.
How do you get rid of a director, director of football and manager ALL at the same time?
Levein has to leave Hearts as no self respecting manager will work under his interference so all the talk of a new guy is pointless as all we will get is a Levein yes man.
Then we come to my point earlier, he has blatantly lied to the media and fans. Claiming he never passed a note to Cathro, when everyone witnessed it live on TV.
The guy is a bad smell and will NEVER leave of his own choosing, many hate Mickey Stewart but the guy is spot on with his comments even if they are self motivated.
Even going back to our original board and many years ago on JKB I wanted him gone ,in fact never wanted him brought in ,in the first place.

Re: The Craig Levein thread

Just as a side note, Budge and Levein harping on about 2 points after 5 games. They are totally hiding their heads in the sand to ignore the fact we have not won a league game in 12. They seem to think the worst run in the club's history is all about the last 5 games and nothing to do with the fact tha since the cup game against Celtic we have been utter crap. Also if they are going to use the tiered old excuse about injuries then maybe looking at why we have more than our fair share would be better than condescending press releases

You can believe gravity doesn't exist too, if you like. It'd still be slavering shite.

Re: The Craig Levein thread

Decent management in the second half of the Derby, no? Change of shape & personnel and we became the more dangerous side......

Re: The Craig Levein thread

One game won't change my mind . Uche shove should have been a foul, and a lucky deflection is all that's between a win and humiliating defeat.
We played better in second half.  Levein was looking worried before then and you have to wonder if the change of tactics was his idea, as he has not been know to be so good before.
The other question is if we played better second half why does he insist on putting out a team with Clare in it.

Ok great to win down there and a quick climb up a couple of places in the league but we have a seriously important game ( Wed ) so lets hope they can get a team out there willing to fight and win.

Re: The Craig Levein thread

I know, I was winding you up Jim.
Why he starts with Clare will have a lot to do with shape (well not Clare particularly as he's not been so great but someone in that position). Shape at the start especially away from home is not likely to be the same as the shape when you're a goal behind with less time to go. Not defending Levein but any manager who predictably started with a 442 could expect to be picked off more often than not unless he has particularly good energetic and aggressive and skillful centre mids.
