Pinilla

Personally, I’ve never got the love in with him. The very epitome of the term ‘wage thief’.

One of the most talented players to ever walk through our doors. But we only had a cracking goal against Aberdeen to show for it.

Could’ve been one of our best ever. That’s what hurts the most.

He was a player that was *clearly* too good to be at Hearts. Like we've had guys like Rudi and Takis (spot the era) that would normally have been too good for our means, but they were at "lower" points of their careers. Pinilla was at the absolute peak and as he showed in Serie A when his head wasn't full of mince, he'd have been too good for Celtic or Rangers, let alone us. 
I put him down as "ha, remember that guy" rather than a legend - but I'll never say anything bad about him.
