Old Firm B teams

Lower leagues are going to vote on letting Rangers and Celtic stick their B teams in the league. Hopefully tell them resoundingly to go fuck themselves, but I daresay they won't. Pub league stuff.

A thing that would help those two & no-one else.

Re: Old Firm B teams

Included in the proposals:

Clubs in Leagues One and Two to benefit by at least £100,000 over five-year period

Loans of under-21 players between clubs can be increased from two (current) to five

B teams will be able to play in Challenge Cup but not the Scottish Cup or League Cup

B teams will have no voting rights and no rights to any distribution money

The only change to the financial model would be teams in first and second place in the Premiership, who would forego £290,000 for the first five seasons.
It's tantamount to barefaced bribery.

Re: Old Firm B teams

Hmmm. They'd have all their players - young ones, first team regulars coming back after a lay off, players on trial, all match-ready. They'd have a platform to showcase players they want to part with.
Naw, for me it's available for every club or no club.

And I don't get the mention of the top two foregoing some money, why not the two clubs who are putting their reserves forward foregoing the money or have I misunderstood something.
