Pre season friendlies

I don't put much thought into these games and the scores rarely matter, but a 2-0 loss to Arbroath?
No matter how you look at it, we should be seeing off teams like this in our sleep.

Re: Pre season friendlies

Ach we got beat off Oban Saints last time we finished third. If however we don't win/play something that looks like football against Dundee United, I'll be doing my dinger again.

Shelbourne 0 Hearts 7. Now if only that had been Hibs we were playing!
Like I said previously  don't hold these results too much.

Re: Pre season friendlies

Just watched the goals on the Hearts twitter feed. Anyone getting excited about scoring 7 against this lot is very easily pleased. Worse than a pub team. Almost as bad as Hibs

Re: Pre season friendlies

Anyone getting excited about ANY preseason friendly, win, loss or draw is easily beaten by a wee dug at Connect 4 tbf

Re: Pre season friendlies

You never were very good at connect four IJ, so you getting beat by the wee dug is no surprise.
Reading some of the posts on JKB and you would think we had just beaten Milan ( the AC one ) to win the Champs league.

Re: Pre season friendlies

And reading it after we got beat by Arbroath you'd think we'd went out of business.

The only pre-season friendly I've really enjoyed was against Middlesbrough at the start of the 05-06 season, when Vlad let everyone in for free, and there were about 6 trialists (inc Rudi & Bednar I think).
