I love a great rest me. There should be more of it going about rather than everyone rushing about so much.

OK, Jim, I'll bite. What's your issue with the Great Reset? I've pasted the first few paragraphs on it from wiki.
The Great Reset is a proposal by the World Economic Forum (WEF) to rebuild the economy sustainably following the COVID-19 pandemic. It was unveiled in May 2020 by the United Kingdom's Prince Charles and WEF director Klaus Schwab.[1][2] It seeks to improve capitalism by making investments more geared toward mutual progress and focusing more on environmental initiatives. It has been criticized for using the pandemic to implement a risky experiment and a petition to stop it gained 80,000 signature.s in less than 72 hours. A conspiracy theory has spread in response, claiming it will be used to bring in socioeconomic and environmental changes and a supposed New World Order.According to the World Economic Forum (WEF), the COVID-19 pandemic presents an opportunity to shape an economic recovery and the future direction of global relations, economies, and priorities.[4] When Britain's Prince Charles introduced the plan, he outlined that it will only happen if people want it.[1]According to Prince Charles, the economic recovery must put the world on a path to sustainability, with systems being redesigned to help. Carbon pricing was mentioned as a way to help achieve sustainability. He also outlined that innovations, science, and technology need to be reinvigorated so we can achieve significant breakthroughs that help us make sustainable ideas more profitable.[1] According to the WEF, we should also adapt to the current reality by directing the market to fairer results, ensure investments are aimed at mutual progress including accelerating ecologically friendly investments, and to start a fourth industrial revolution, creating digital economic and public infrastructure.[1][5]Prince Charles emphasized that the private sector would be the main drivers of the plan.[1] According to Klaus Schwab, they would not change the economic system, but rather improve it to what he considers to be "responsible capitalism".[6] A book written by Schwab and economist Thierry Malleret was published detailing the plan.[7] It will be the main theme of the WEF's 2021 summit. This is why I have a problem with the great rest:
Any chance you could sum up the video in a few sentences, Jim? I don't have time to watch that.

So basically what you are saying Forrest is you have time to read what suits your agenda but not anything that goes against your preconceived ideas.
Ok what he is saying Schwab and co are saying that you will own nothing and be happy. They want to move to a cashless society and you will use credits, credits that can be easily removed if you do not comply.
Property and freedom will be removed for the great good.

Just curious - why do you choose to believe this guy and not any other people who don't think that?

FFS it's NOT just him. TRY doing a little investigation.

You know I find it strange that a younger generation that is savvy with technology and is never far from the internet doesn't do more than log into facebook. I am an old C^&% and I have scoured the internet for information. Try broadening your horizons and stay off social media for a bit.
There is a big world out there, try for example sky news Aus. They do seem to have a more open mind than the MSM in this shit hole they call the UK.

You put a big store in Sky news AU, you've mentioned it a few times. Thanks for your advice. In return maybe consider who owns the media outlets you use, what their political affiliations are, their political donations being interesting frinstance Jim, and therefore what slant they might be trying to put into readers' thinking.

I challenge all of you to watch ALL these and say you have no doubts the government/ MSM in this country is telling the truth and that the vaccine is safe and good.

No, what I'm saying is that I genuinely don't have time. My work is busier than it's ever been, I don't have commutes any more where I can do personal admin or plan for Scouting stuff, the latter of which is taking up even more time due to enhanced risk assessments and having to do everything in a new way. On top of that, I've got my share of housework and the raising of two still fairly young children. I've not read any further in the wiki article than what I copied and pasted, and I don't have time to sit and watch a 15-minute YouTube video.
After all that, thanks for posting a couple of sentences on the matter. I'd start by saying that just because something is currently being done a certain way doesn't necessarily make it the best way. We're already well on our way to being a cashless society, and I don't necessarily think there's anything wrong with that. What's the difference between courts fining you for breaking the law, and having credits removed from your account for "not complying".
Property and freedom being removed? There's been a huge call in recent years for land reform in Scotland, but whatever happens, it's not going to be an overnight change. Presumably if you own nothing, neither do you owe anything, which would instantly relieve the stress of debt. Sounds to me like a subject well worth discussing and exploring in more depth.
What freedoms is Schwab recommending removing? Sounds a bit sensationalist (as does any video which includes the words "you must watch this" in the title.

I simply and politely asked what makes you believe videos by one person and not videos by another. You've responded with a lot more videos which is fair enough - but we'll go way off-track if we start discussing the videos rather than why you believe these rather than others. (you'd defend them, whereas I'd say Bitchute is a recognised far right-wing affiliated platform and brandnewtube is the David Icke platform and suporters of the english nationalists. As a result we'd get nowhere). So out of simple curiosity why do you believe these people and not other people who are equally in the know yet say a different thing?
