Ah let's hud our horses a wee minute tho. When HC says "first suggestion for midfield, right?" she probably dusnae mean 'right then, whaes furst fur midfield' she's probably meaning 'midfield, oan the right'. Hartley peaked as a gallus player when brought in from the right to go box-to'box. So we're better with a specialist wide boy first and Hartley next to him on the inside.
So I think for the first one pick a hibbie to shoe-horn in, for the sake of numbers ken 😉

Ok, if it's right midfield I'd say Boyle for the Hibs, he is pretty decent tbf. For Hearts we'd be looking at Tam Flogel imo.

Hard choice. Flogel had skill skill skill, enough to perform well in every position he was put in (which was, well, just about every position). Boyle was a hibby. I saw an awful lot more of Flogel than I did of Boyle so I'd go for the Austrian, but it also means I might not be judging Plook properly.
