Well, is yer team going down?

I genuinely think we’re humped. This bunch of losers don’t have what it takes for a relegation battle.

Dunno - so it's worth still playing a few more of the games.
If we go on as we are, yes.
If we get a bit of pragmatism and attack from a sounder base, prob not.

Still a lot of points to play for, however the players don't seem to think that they have any responsibility. Levein has in this position but the players still need to step up and pass to their own team mates, get stuck in to tackles and defend for their lives. Do they have enough professional pride to do this? I doubt it.
Some claiming it takes time to change a team, I don't agree. They can change tactics when a sub is made yet they can't grasp the simple idea you have to win the ball back every time you lose it.
The mid and forwards need to step up and get tackling when it's still in the opposition half.
The strikers need to man up and shoot when they get the chance and the defence needs to be sharp all through the game.
Personally I would fine them wages when losing and pay them a bonus when we win, money seems to motivate them more than pride.

I think we'll stay up. No reasons, just optimistic!

St Midden beat Motherwell last night so it's now a huge ask. St Midden 25 Hamilton 21 and us on 19 with a goal diff of -22.

Good article yesterday on the EEN website:
Win our game in hand v St Mirren and we're off the bottom and 3 points behind them, with us having no more games against the Sectarian Firm. Still a lot of water to go under the bridge...

I had no idea we could do polls on here.
Anyway aye, we're down. No point in pretending otherwise.

I see only superficial similarities to that side Forrest. When I watched them struggle that season I thought they were struggling from too much confidence (!). The season before they'd worked hard, got results, etc. but the season in question they weren't doing that, a player would carry the ball then when they'd attracted a defender or two and turned to find a team-mate there wasn't one there, possession would be lost as we'd be getting attacked again. Simply thought they were now 'good successful players' and stopped working as hard for each other. I don't see that this season, seems a different problem to me, just one of balance and where quality is lacking (CM and DM).

Neither did I until I posted this!
Thought it would make for a good first poll.
