Red tops reporting that Stendel to be approached, with Nanny going upstairs.
Stendel's history is of about a 50% win ratio. The one link to a red top I followed saying that he was popular with the fans where he is now (Barnsley) but is on gardening leave. But also talks about compensation - hope Budgie's a decent negotiator as compensation should be avoidable since taking him on would mean they wouldn't have to pay up his contract. But of course it'd likely be a drop in income for him so some fancy footwork, which could be expensive, might still be needed to get him.
