Papers reporting he's a serious contender for the mangers job. IF Hearts appoint this f*ckwit I am done. With so many other candidates being touted, how Ann can even interview this arse is beyond me.
Ps if this is a smoke screen to appoint McPhee I will be equally unhappy.

I'd accept McPhee ahead of most of the names which've been touted. Keane (obstinate confrontational ego), McCann (one go at management and that didn't go well), Cotterill (once won the third tier in England, other than that it's been relegation end of the leagues he's been in). Of the recent interviewees it'd be Nanny or Ross for me.

Ross has been appointed Hibs boss.

McCall sooks up Sevco's behind. At Motherwell all he spoke about was " Rangers" and when he's on TV he licks their backsides all programme. I want a manger that isn't a lover of the bigot twins and has no fear of going west and winning.

Not heard a solitary name that even remotely excites me. Fully prepared for this to be yet another fuck up tbh.

Jings, cheer up, peeps. I suspect the papers have little clue about what the board are thinking and who's on the list. Sven for sporting director according to the Record last week!

Press release was that they'd looked at the applicants and were about to start approaching others (didn't make it clear whether those others had applied or hadn't, could be they had but weren't currently unemployed so weren't going public about looking at a move. Might be a mixture of both). Wonder if they've thought of looking along the corridor too 🙂.
Approaching managers already in jobs prob means those at a lesser level who'd see it as a positive move, and possibly those who aren't the manager at their clubs.

Paper talk:
Stendl
Adkins
Taylor
Robbo
Magath
The snake
Terry
Cotterill
McCann
Austin McPhee
McCall
Robinson
Warnock
I would dismiss:
Mc Call
The Snake
Robbo
McCann
McPhee
Top of the list Stendl.

Was there actually a press release Anders, or was it just made up by Barry Anderson?
Stendl sounds like an intriguing choice. I'd take Warnock, though you have to assume it'd be relatively short term. Would be interested to see what Keane or Terry would do in the role. Both contemptible characters, but winners. Magath would be an interesting one, but I'd be worried he'd turn out like Malofeev.
What I don't want is someone who'd be scared of the Sectarian Firm, or even worse than that, idolises one of them.
